Local Chiropractor to Participate in Augusta Ironman

Dr. Daniel Rukeyser, DC, founder of the Vital Wellness Center, will be one of the participants in the upcoming Augusta, Georgia Ironman events as a competitor and service provider.

Rukeyser is a certified provider of the Active Release Technique (ART) and a member of the prestigious Ironman Provider Network and is also a triathlon competitor.

“For the Augusta Ironman event, I will be in Augusta in advance of the race to work with the various athletes to help them be better prepared to compete,” said Rukeyser. “I have assisted athletes in a number of Ironman events to compete safely by properly preparing their bodies for the test of their endurance while at the same time helping them to recognize any potential warning signs that they are pushing their bodies beyond their limits.”

‘Iron Man’ Doctor Uses Lessons From Athletes to Treat Local Patients

TREASURE COAST – An area chiropractor was one of only two Florida doctors at the 2011 Ford Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Daniel A. Rukeyser operates Vital Chiropractic Wellness Center in Stuart and Fort Pierce, caring for local athletes, seniors, fitness enthusiasts, accident victims and other patients.

But last month, he was one of 40 members of the Active Release Techniques medical team in the Iron Man provider network to travel to Hawaii to care for athletes in the grueling triathlon.

Teachers Can Get Free Massages

Daniel Rukeyser, the staff of the Vital Wellness Center in Fort Pierce and Stuart and radio stations WPSL 1590 and WJNX La Gigante are honoring educators in the county with a free half- hour therapeutic massage.

The wellness update, kicking off with the start of Florida’s FCAT testing is a way to say thank you for the job educators do in providing the leaders of tomorrow with the skills they need to be responsible citizens.
